124-126 Campbell Parade, Bondi

CGS Façade Engineering was engaged to provide façade engineering services for the efficient design and development of the external façade envelope of 124-126 Campbell Parade, Bondi.

The building integrates a ground floor retail precinct with seven residential apartments above. The site is subject to heritage overlay requirements, with the existing pitched gable, formerly part of the Wentworth Refreshment Rooms and later Bates Milk Bar, retained and structurally integrated into the new envelope. Façade engineering played a critical role in reconciling heritage retention with modern building performance requirements.
